Description - 20 km trail running in the heart of the Jura Vaudois
This 20 km itinerary will take you to discover the Vaud Jura, passing through the "Fruitières de Nyon" and the "Vermeilley".
This sporty trail running takes the first part of the 10km itinerary. However, instead of making the detour to "Mont Roux", climb directly to "Les Fruitières de Nyon". From there, reach the Rochefort cabin overlooking the Fruitières, before switching to the other side of the forest.
Once at the locality of Haut Mont, a loop starts by following a marked path (before Vermeilley with a small detour by the "Combe au Cerf"), then turn left onto a path marked red and white (on the ground). The latter first passes by the Carroz-Jura cabin, which offers a very nice panorama, then joins the pedestrian path again.
There follows a part of it on this track towards La Givrine, before turning left on another track and continuing until it crosses with asphalt roads.
From there, turn right into the pasture until you enter the forest using a wooden staircase. All that remains is to follow this wild path in the Combe à l'Ours to Basse-Ruche
