In Nyon, "L'Amicale des Pompiers" presents an exhibition on The Calculus Affair and Tintin in Nyon.
In 1956, the Calculus Affair introduced Tintin fans to the story that take place between Geneva and Nyon.
The museum has a small collection dedicated to Tintin, including several basic features of this story. The centerpiece of the collection is the 1953 Willys Jeep, which has been faithfully reproduced in the comic following an intervention by the firefighters.
The museum was inaugurated in the year 2000 and contains many objects (old equipment, helmets, pumps, etc.); located within the premises of the Nyon Fire Department, the latter allows us to preserve our heritage and can be visited by appointment.
