The Gaz factory is establishing itself as a major cultural center in the Nyon region, offering a rich program, combining concerts, theaters and themed evenings which fill a wide and varied audience year after year.
March 2021: the City of Nyon hands over the keys to the new buildings to the team, after three years of expansion work. The installation is being done, with the expectation of being able to inaugurate the premises in September 2021.
The Gas Factory quadruples its surface area. It becomes the regional scene of Nyon and the region. It is made up of:
• Room 1, a performance hall with retractable bleachers, with 450 standing or 150 seated places, with adjacent bar
• Room 2, an auditorium with 207 seats, with a 14m deep and 15m wide stage
• The Foyer & Bar 2
• The studio, a rehearsal space
• Room 0, a room that can be converted into a meeting space
Housed within the walls of a real gas factory, the place turned into a performance hall and opened to the public in 1995.
