This walk links the village of Marchissy to the "Crêtes du Jura" by rediscovering old paths. It takes its name from the presence of the Capercaillie, also known as the Great Rooster, near the arrival in La Perroude de Marchissy.
Along the way, you will be able to enjoy beautiful places: Le pied des Bois and its picnic area, the shaded clearing of the "Pré des Guettes" then continue the walk through the pastures of La Grillette and Les Prés de Joux to reach the municipal pavilion. From there, enjoy the view of the Lake Geneva, the Alps and Mont Blanc. Then keep going toward "Les Echadez" to finally reach the alpine chalet "La Perroude de Marchissy".
