Chef Hussein Hamade started his career at the Hotel Riviera, then the Howard Johnson and finally the Phenicia Intercontinental in Beirut, Lebanon.
A graduate of HTMi in Sörenberg, canton of Lucerne, he worked in Best Western hotels in Geneva. He then opened his restaurant in Annemasse in 2011.
In love with the region, in 2021, he opened his new establishment in Nyon, the Elyssar restaurant, a little nod to a Phoenician princess of Tire, known in Greek and Roman mythologies as Dido.
