The Mont-sur-Rolle vineyard is a small jewel. It is located between 400 and 600 meters above sea level. Protected by a forested area on the north, it benefits from the sun reflecting on the Geneva Lake.
The 250 hectares of Mont-sur-Rolle vineyard spreads out along the Lake Geneva shores. The Mont-sur-Rolle Appellation includes wines of following villages: Mont-sur-Rolle, Essertines-sur-Rolle, and a part of Perroy.
Thanks to its numerous wine domains and castles, Mont-sur-Rolle proposes a prestigious selection of Grands Crus. Its Chasselas, a powerful and full-bodied grape variety, is cultivated to 70%.
Wine producers tend to increasingly diversify their products in proposing other grape varieties, which, year after year, contribute to consolidate the good reputation of this nearly thousand-years old’s Appellation. Among one of the thirty winemakers who produce Grand Crus, you will certainly find the variety and production method that will suit your preferred meal.
