The mill was already mentioned in 1548. It is equipped with a hydraulic saw which was installed in 1816. The two nearby ponds feed a giant wheel of 6.50m with water.
The magnificent machinery of the St-George’s mill was renovated by a team of volunteer. Thanks to their effort you will be able to see the whole installation in working condition.
On the first floor of the mill there is a museum which explains the story of agricultural implements and a collection of wooden tools that were used in the past, as well as some machines which aren’t existent anymore.
