Family work, respect for nature and wine quality are at the heart of the values cherished by the Munier family.
Domaine de la Montardière is in Tartegnin, the reputed “land of good wine” at the heart of the La Côte AOC vineyards. The Munier family’s natural growth methods, a passion passed on from generation to generation, are combined with advanced mechanisation systems and yield regularly rewarded wines.
At Domaine de la Montardière, the Munier family grows a dozen different vines, regularly rewarded Chasselas and Pinot Noir among them. Laurent and his wife Floriane are keen on keeping their estate a family business, which their son François and his wife Caroline will take over one day. The family takes good care of their vines, knowing that they will be passed on to future generations. This environment-friendly approach to vine-growing has almost naturally motivated the Munier family to pass from integrated to organic production. They have also planted the recent, disease-free varietal called Divona, which can be grown without chemical treatments.
Visit their estate to discover their philosophy! Wine fans are welcomed every week and during regularly organised open-door events. The Munier family is a member of the network of establishments certified by Vaud Œnotourisme. They offer a complete tasting experience since they also sell fruit juices, jams, spirits, and even objects handcrafted by the members of the family.
