The Bois Gentil campsite in Ballens is a family run campsite for four generations.
Born in the 1960s thanks to the national exhibition in Lausanne, the campsite has never stopped wanting to share this quiet corner of the countryside at the foot of the Jura with nature lovers or curious city dwellers.
Walking or cycling in the forest, hiking in the mountains or mushroom picking, the Bois Gentil campsite aspires to tranquillity with notes of renewal, generation after generation: from the construction of a swimming pool to the rental of caravans, we are always trying to evolve and meet your demands.
The new team in place manages nearly 100 places in the season, a dozen places of passage and two rentals of facilities. From June onwards, the pool is open to residents and the public outside the campsite.
A small shop also supplies regional products (beers, wines, bread, ...), because consuming locally and making our small producers known are non-negotiable points for us.
