40 km for trained trailers from St-Cergue to La Dôle

This trail running itinerary for experienced trailers allows you to discover the beautiful places of the Jura Vaudois.

This course for experienced trailers allows you to discover the beautiful places of the first 3 itineraries up to the Carroz-Jura hut. From there, you have to go down the wild trail marked in red and white, then leave it for a 4x4 track on the right towards the "Pré au Four".
Go down by the small road, before returning to the pedestrian track that leads to La Givrine.
Once you have crossed the road to the "Col de la Givrine", join "La Trélasse". Those for whom "trail running" also rhymes with a good terrace and tasting of regional products, can stop at the "Couvaloup de Crans" (29th km) before attacking the ascent to "la Dôle".
This ascent is via the "Reculet" to the terminus of the chairlifts. At the top, enjoy a gigantic panorama from the Salève to the Fribourg Pre-Alps. A magnificent path allows us to go along the crest of the Dôle Massif before reaching the Col de Porte. From there, take the direction of the Chalet des Apprentis (small refreshment bar at the 33rd km), then the Barillette.
The descent back to St-Cergue takes you through the hamlet of Guinfard and a final viewpoint at the "Vieux Château".
