This hike forms a loop between the villages of Luins, Vinzel and Bursins. The path is accessible through the three villages.
Discover the forest environment along the Sentier des Châtaignes, which offers magnificent panoramic views of the vineyards, the Alps and Lake Geneva. The path links the three villages of Bursins, Vinzel and Luins, and offers picnic and rest areas. In Luins, you can eat at the Devens refuge, built entirely from chestnut wood.
At the end of your walk, you can stop off at one of our partner restaurants for a tasty meal. Visit the Union restaurant, the Auberge du Soleil in Bursins or the Auberge de Luins.
You'll be guided over a total of 5.5 kilometres for 2.5 hours by wooden signs bearing the Châtaigne logo.
The walk is moderately difficult, so you'll need good shoes and suitable equipment. The path is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. It is possible to take shortcuts to reach the villages more quickly through the vineyards.
