It is no wonder with the magnificent region surrounding this domaine, that a certain Roman Marcius decided to settle here. Some relics such as Roman coins or pottery testify to the presence of this civilisation from 250 AD – 300 AD.
It is not before much later that Barbara and Roland Locher will take up the reins of this exceptional domaine.
