This exhibition, which is being held simultaneously at the Château de Nyon and the Musée d'art et d'histoire de Neuchâtel, shows the works chosen by a jury during the competition organised by Swissceramics. From 11th to 16th September 2022, Swissceramics, the Swiss Ceramics Association, will host the 50th Congress of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) in Geneva. In this context, the Association is organising a national exhibition on the general theme of the AIC Congress, "Melting Pot".

A "melting pot" is a sphere where different cultural origins are mixed together in a harmonious assimilation. The term also refers, of course, to the melting pot in which a material, in this case ceramics, can be made. This theme has guided the creators in the works they are presenting in Neuchâtel and Nyon at the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023.
